I’m actually not very good at gardening, but I at least give it my best try. At the very least, when I accidentally kill my plants, it just adds to the creepy, decaying atmosphere in my yard! All the better to host spooky garden tea parties amongst the dead plant graveyard in back!

Tonight as I was innocently browsing Grandin Road’s new Halloween 2021 offerings, I gasped when I saw this gorgeous “Fountain Of Mortals.” It reminds me of Disney’s Haunted Mansion or possibly Medusa.

On top of the statue’s head perches a quizzical raven.
The fountain is made of resin that’s made to look like stone. You fill it with water and plug it in (using an indoor/outdoor safe extension cord, of course). The fountain burbles but doesn’t light up or make any noises other than burbling water. (More’s the pity.. this would look fantastic with an eerie green or somber purple light coming from it!) The company reminds us that we aren’t to actually drink water from this fountain.
