Dark and Scary Skeleton Wreaths to Display on Halloween

I know there have been many Halloweens where I have been too busy to decorate. Sometimes I just want a few decorations here and there for my own pleasure.

My mother originally offered to make me a wreath for Christmas, but I told her I would prefer a Halloween themed wreath! (via Etsy; affiliate link) I tasked her with this project last year (still yet to be finished.) I personally love skulls and skeletons, but that seems like a lot to ask for a first time wreath-maker. I’d love to have multiple wreaths up throughout the house!

I am thrilled to show you some very dark and scary skeleton wreaths I stumbled upon.

I thoroughly enjoy the shape of this elongated skeleton wreath. This would be a creepy addition to add at the end of a hallway .

Have you ever seen a skeleton wreath that incorporates berry branches like this one? This is a very distinct skeleton wreath!

This is a spooky yet stunning goth skeleton wreath. The dichotomy between the pale pink roses and deep dark red roses is beautiful. Did you notice the rat skeleton hidden in the wreath?

I couldn’t help but add this Frida Kahlo skeleton wreath to the top of my list! She pops with her bright pink floral headdress in contrast with the dark wreath.

I’ve not seen clam shells used as a Halloween decoration before, but with this wreath I think it works. The texture and Frida’s skeleton really make this grim wreath stand out.

The poison skeleton wreath reminds me of a freak show or a Victorian woman. The stripy bows and hat placed on the skeleton hat looks like something a sinister ringmaster would wear. The fabric that drapes down from the skulls chin look like Victorian dress.

Either way, this poison wreath is quite creepy!

Wreaths are an easy way of decorating your home during the spooky season. Not only are they easy to stage, but also put away once Halloween is done. Have you made a Halloween themed wreath?
